The maximum rating an airline can get for safety is seven stars. The safety table was created by AirlineRatings.com, an airline safety and product review website, which monitors 405 airlines around the world and produces an annual list of the ones deemed safest. AirlineRatings analyzed data for 405 airlines across the world to put together its list of the top 20 safest carriers. It used 12 separate criteria, including audits from governments, aviation's governing bodies and lead associations. Cathay Pacific Airways has the honour of safest airline in the world according to the JACDEC Safety Index. While Emirates and EVA Air take 2nd and 3rd respectfully. The Cabin Safety Subject Index (CSSI) is a reference guide to Federal Regulations, FAA Orders, Advisory Circulars, Information for Operators (InFO), Safety Alerts for Operators (SAFO), legal interpretations, and other FAA related content related to cabin safety. The ASN Safety Database, updated daily, contains descriptions of over airliner, military transport category aircraft and corporate jet aircraft safety occurrences since 1919.
